About Us
Stars Above Hawaii is an exciting astronomical entertainment and educational program. Its presenter is Hōkū Kane (Star Man), aka SuperNovaGreg, who has spent his lifetime studying the universe and the stars above. He is an Ambassador with the NASA Solar System Ambassadors Program, a Council Member with the Friends of the University of Hawaii - Institute for Astronomy (IfA) and a Member of the Polynesian Voyaging Society. Hōkū Kane brings the most up to date and exciting information known about the universe to the Stars Above Hawaii with a focus on Polynesian star voyaging navigation story telling and Hawaii astronomy.
We also attend charity events with our telescopes and provide complimentary fund raising charity tickets to our star show. If you would like Stars Above Hawaii to support your charity, please let us know.
